Sophie's simply peering out at the world now with curious eyes the likes of which I can't look away from and I curl her up tighter, one hand pressed to her back while laying an affectionate kiss to her head. "Daddy, why can't I date t'il I'm eighteen?" she wonders, mostly echoing our own words.
